We have been giving gift cards for the movie theater. Depending on how much you want to spend--you can a card with enough to get a ticket and a snack.

I like to give kids gift cards for their birthday. But for little kids its fun to give them money and make it all one dollar bills. They think they are rich. I know when my kids were little they would think that 10 one dollar bills was better then on $20 bill. LOL I would also include a little stuffed animal. She may have 1000's of them but kids usually LOVE them.

I dont have an idea for you but I had to post. I am having the same exact issue. We are going to a bday party on Saturday for a little girl turning 5. She has everything so I have no clue what to get her. Heck, her mom didnt even have a clue when I asked her.

A gift card to a book store, Target, her favorite toy store. Santa got my kids a $5 Starbucks card and they were in heaven! they thought they were big time. Is there a Libby Lu's around you? Maybe a gift card from there. She can apply it to get her hair done or lotion, ect. My girls (just turned 5) love lotion with glitter, sparkley stuff, nail polish, the little things you put on nails. They would love earrings IF they had their ears peirced. They are dieing for clipon earrings. A gift card to CLaires would be nice for a girl. My girls are not picky, they love anything you get them. They are into My Little OPony, My Littlest Petshop and groovey girls.
Maybe a gift card to a nail saloon. My niece took my girls to get their fingers done for their birthday and it cost $5 per girl. They thought they were hot stuff.

If she has a pool, I have an idea. I got my kids the Swimways float thing that is shaped like a skateboard. The kids stand and balance on them in the water (works best in deeper water) Also float on them, use them as bats for pool baseball, etc. They get used alot around here. My kids have given them for 4 birthdays so far this summer, and they were well received. They are about $15 at target or LNT. I picked up three more at LNT about 2 weeks ago, 1/2 price.

My 5yr olds best gift

last year was a kit to raise butterflies. It was the only thing he asked for again this year. I picked it up at BBB (or maybe it was LNT?) with a coupon. A specialty toy store should have it. Our whole family loved it.

The other thing my kids enjoy is a big box of white computer paper, construction paper, contact paper, new markers, tape (reg and double sided) stickers and glue sticks. You can get lots of other cool stuff to go in it from Dollar Tree.. pom poms, pipecleaners, popsicle sticks, clothespins, etc.

Is she in to Disney Channel? Hanna Montana has a fun CD, as do many of the other High School Musical kids.

Littlest pet shop is very popular here.. the digital pets especially.

Have fun!
