I voted NO, but, have shopped on line before. It's very rare. I much prefer the thrill of going out to the stores ;-)

I voted no. I very rarely shop online as I hate to pay shipping.

I much prefer B&M shopping. I like the instant gratification and the hunt for a deal. Also, most of my purchases are for clothing and shoes and I have to try them on.

I do alot on research online if I am making a big purchase.

Most of my shopping is done online, especially Christmas shopping for the kids.......It is just so much easier for me to do it online, then to try and get away without any of the kids.....I usually watch for sales, and coupons for free shipping.

Our sales tax is close to 10%. There is no sales tax at most online stores for my state (ie Amazon, Overstock, DeepDiscountDVD, etc.) and shipping is often cheap or free.

I am a member of Amazon Prime (free 2-day shipping no matter what an item costs). I joined AP during an incredible deal during this past holiday season and so hope that I can find another deal like that after my year is up!

I love armchair shopping but agree that I'd never buy anything with fabric including rugs, towels, etc. (have to see and feel!) or shoes or other things like that.

Hey Cuthie, sorry to break it to you, but Amazon signed a lease for a warehouse in Arizona. In fact, I believe they had the job fair this week. Since they will be a physical presense in the state, tax will be charged eventually.

I'm with you on the Prime membership with free shipping. LOVE it and I shop there constantly. Amazon is my favorite online store.

I do most of my shopping online. I like the comfort of not having to leave your home; it's so convenient for me.

I voted YES

Amulquin..................NO! LOL. Hopefully, I'll get my stuff even faster since it won't be coming from Nevada anymore. Phoenix is within hours of us...

We'll see how it effects the prices. Like you said, it might be awhile before it gets situated. Thanks for the heads up! But you ruined my day. Just kidding.

I voted yes. I shop online when I know I can get codes for free things and money off. I just did the Victoria's Secret the other day that was posted on the shopping board. I got four things and three of them were free!! Great for Christmas!

How about food shopping online?

Miss Roben's, Food Allergy Solutions and amazon are good place that are 'allergy stocked'

Cuthie, Sorry sorry sorry
If it's any consolation, I was bummed too!
Good point about faster shipping, though their 2 day shipping (with prime) is already great. I'm just worried that something else will change, like them cancelling the free shipping on 25$ or doing away with Prime Membership
*eek : just the thought makes me dizzy*

Okay, I'll think happy thoughts now...

I am the Catalog Queen...I must receive every catalog that is out there...Much to my mailman's dismay I'm sure...I love looking through them, but I rarely buy anything online...I think because shipping costs so much and I prefer to see it in person before I buy it...I had a bad experience one time buying clothing online...That's probably why...It looked so nice online, and was a piece of junk when I got it...I really should get over it and try to do some shopping online...especially for the holidays...It would save me so much time and hassles... ~Lisa
