Tammy Faye on Larry King - Sad!

I didn't catch the full interview but they had some clips on Entertainment Tonight last night. She is absolutely wasting away with lung cancer -- 65 pounds and under hospice care. She won't let the doctors tell her how much longer she has.

It was sad to watch but she still has such spirit and is so upbeat! It was inspiring to me and made me feel so appreciative of my health and all that I have.

Here's a clip from the preview on Wednesday night. The full interview was last night, Thursday: YouTube - Tammy Faye larry king Interview 2007-07-18

Did any of you see the entire interview?

I only watched parts of it. She has just wasted away. I couldn't believe it was her. God bless her.

I hate to say it but she looked like a live corpse. I saw her on ET last night. She only weighs 62#'s. Hard to believe she is still alive in her condition.

I watched part of the interview too. I was amazed that she could sit there. And that she could stand the weight of her jewerly on her body.

I found a good synopsis of the interview:
Tammy Faye Says She Doesn't Fear Death - Tammy Faye Messner : People.com

Her faith is so genuine.

Wow...I'm in awe that she could even have enough strength to get out of bed and do that interview...It's inspiring because I know that I'd be curled up in a ball probably...I hope that she's not in too much pain and God bless her and her family. ~Lisa

I saw part of it. I was never a Tammy Faye fan, but it's just heart wrenching now. You've got to respect her for how she's handling herself. She's a very strong woman. I'm so sorry for her. When they showed the pictures of her "back then" and then to see her now, it's just unbelievable. I had to giggle, though, she's still got all the makeup on!

I may not have been a fan of hers but I cannot believe what people are saying on youtube. What has this world become when we make such terrible statements about someone who is dying? I can't believe how evil people can be. It is very sad.

I feel so sorry for her. Cancer is a terrible thing, and it just tortures people. This is why we have to fight it!!

It is indeed very sad to see her - anyone - in that awful condition. But goodness, they keep playing it and playing it and playing it.....like it's a freak show or something.

She does have an online store for books and memorabilia for those interested: Tammy Faye's Online Store However: "Please understand that we are experiencing an unusually large number of orders at the present time."

I fell for Tammy when I watched her on Surreal Life a few years ago. I loved the fact that she was secure enough in herself and her faith that she never once felt it necessary to judge or preach to others. She was so sweet and nice the whole time - I realized the media had done her a huge disservice.

I hope she is medicated against any pain. I had the mute button on but even still, the video made me cry. I refused to read the comments b/c I know how hateful internet people can be.

I too, fell in love with her on Surreal Life....I never liked her before but
she was sincere and showed class on that show..

I will never forget her telling how she forgave her husband....she said
it was like baggage on her back she was dragging around. It was dragging
her down & she finally realized to get rid of it, she had to let go and forgive .
She did & the baggage was gone.

A lesson we all could use sometime in our life I am sure...

She was one great women! Fake eye lashes and all!
