I am trying to find an old email I got. I know WHO I got it from, just can't remember exactly WHEN I got it. I know I have "compacted" my email a time or two.....when it asks me to. I have tried searching EVERYWHERE. Anyone got any suggestions????

Even if I deleted it, I would still have it, right??? I use outlook express for my mail, btw.

I don't think you can find them after they are deleted. I can't find mine after I delete them.

after you delete they go to trash, then once in awhile it makes things go away. if it was very old it was probably deleted by the trash.

I can pull up deleted mail in my deleted box on OutLook Express. They don't go anywhere, to my knowledge, unless I delete the deleted box. So, I am really at a loss here..........

something to try (although I don't know if it will be there either, but..)

close your Outlook; open a new window and open your email through that (i.e. - if you are on AOL - go to aol.com and log into your email through that)

look through your folders in that window.

like I said, it may not be there, but it is the only other thing I can think of to try.
