Anyone have a work-from-home job?

I am looking for a work-from-home, internet based job so that I can stay home with my newborn and two other kids. I'd like for it to have flexible hours and I'd like to make enough money to quit my existing job. Anyone know of anything like that? I've looked at some of the online job listings sites and they have a lot of those scamming postings where they want my credit card and they want me to send them some money first.

Check out workplacelikehome.com. I found the lead to my work at home job there and the people are very helpful.

I do want to point out, that MANY of the jobs I saw when I was looking are phone jobs and you must be able to provide a quiet work place. You could not care for a newborn and do these jobs at the same time - of course you could work nights/weekends when someone else was home to watch the kids. Also, many of the companies have set hours. Not all jobs are like this. There are transcription positions that would not require a quiet environment, and some other research type jobs. There are a few companies were you can pick and choose times to work.

Good luck in your search.

I agree that many jobs are phone jobs and require at least some quiet time, plus, you could not just get off the phone to handle a newborn, change a diaper, etc.

I work from home but I run an internet based business. You have to have money to do this (for inventory, marketing, etc). Keep an eye out because many at home jobs are scams and do want you to send them money (don't do that!). poster above had a good site . Good luck

I, too, have wondered about whether there were any legitimate jobs you can do from home, as most of the ones I have seen are scams.

I will check out the forum link that starman posted (ty for the link, btw).
