Reflexology and Acupressure--

Does anyone out there use either of these two techniques? If so, do they work?

What about Acupuncture? If you use any of these three, please respond. What have your results been like? How serious were your problems when you went to these methods of healing? How long have you used these methods?

Thanks in advance.

I haven't tried them as of yet. But I have bought a few books on reflexology. So if you want to know any techniques let me know and I'll look and see if there are any in the books I have.

I'm very intrigued about the results myself.

Have been big fans of reflexology for over 30 years, love it. Taught one of the kids how to do accupressure massage, it's been a great boon.
MZ .---> older, decrepit, and in dire need of massage on a daily basis ;-)

my dsnl is a physical therapist and as part of his techniques he used acupressure a lot and has taught me and dh a lot about relieving those knotted up muscles in your neck and shoulders!

i have personally told you of my back problems / surgeries / etc...
Anyway...I see a chiropractor about every two weeks AND have the OPTION to take advantage of his massage therapy service PLUS my medical insurance covers it!!
So, for less than $50 every two weeks, I can get my back and neck aligned and get a deep tissue massage. When I was pregnant (had the baby, it's a boy, by the way...) this REALLY helped! Took the pressure off my hips and pelvis for a little bit and allowed me to walk fairly normal!!

If I don't take the massage therapy option, I just pay $35 out of pocket. With the way YOU and obrother taught me to coupon...it's well worth it and my dh encourages it!!
