All I can say is I lived in Houston, TX for 30+ years and the women in TEXAS ARE CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! Remember Andrea Yates? Now this?
Don't mess with Texas women if you know what's good for you.

A woman I went to school with is in prison in Texas for killing 2 (I think) of her children and harming another. She was diagnosed with Munchausen Syndrome. She didn't seem crazy in school, she was a sweet cheerleader.

Are there more of these instances or are we just getting better news???

I feel so much sympathy for the family. I grew up with a mother who was bi-polar and suffered from drpression and a hand full of other social/emotional disorders. She threatened to kill us from time to time. My father also said he would go to work and think of her mood that day and worry if we would be alive when he got home that night.
This is so sick, but when Andrea Yates murdered her children my sister called me and we talked about it....her comment in a nut shell came to .....we could run faster than the Yates children.
Mother is now almost 85 and has alzheimers. The three of us take turns having her live with us and take care of her....why? Not out of great love, or fear, but because it is the right thing to do. I've had her for 4 months and 3 months without a break. Some times have not been easy.
