Allergy to sunscreen

Sounds crazy but true.....does anyone else have this problem and what kind of sunscreen do you use? I don't really want to try every kind of baby or sensitive sunscreen to see if it does or doesn't break my 4yo dd out in an awful rash. TIA

How about plain ole zinc oxide. At least start with one ingredient and then expand.

First, Id ask which sunscreen it was, and what the specific ingredients were.

I'd be looking for one with some type of nut oil first...

Then Id go from there...

Ok this was a spray. We have always used the coppertone for babies spray and had no problems. Then when we were on vacation we bought bull frog for kids which was when the first rash occurred...even my husband broke out in a rash with the bull frog sunscreen. So we switch back to coppertone for babies which now has caused my 4 yo to break out in a itchy rash for 6 days so far.

Melbak did you switch back to the lotions and have no problems?
