Spanish learning system question

Hi there, My DS need to re-take Spanish 2 in HS and needs to get a decent grade. Is there an audio learning system (CD's or Casssettes) that you've experienced and would recommend? Thanks!

My son is taking Japanese classes. He's currently taking Japanese III. In between classes he had private tutoring with his Prof. (he really wants to learn this ) Is tutoring an option for your child?

I bought him Cd's from The Pimsleur Approach and he also has Rosetta Stone cd's. He says they are both great. You can do a search and find out more about them. Lots of good info out there.

FYI, I bought Pimsleur through Mypoints.

I have been brushing up on my Spanish using Rosetta Stone. Our county library offers it online. You might want to call you local library and see if this is something they offer.

Find out before you buy anything what type of Spanish is she learning. Spanish from Spain, Mexico, Cuba or some other Latin American country, they all have their own accent.

I work in a library, and we have several learn to speak Spanish media items available for check out. I would think that your local library would too. Spanish is such an important language to learn these days. Give your library a call and ask them. If they don't, they would probably be able to do an interlibrary loan and obtain something for you.

I do know that the Rosetta Stone company is very highly reguarded by homeschoolers. This is one company our library offers too.
