| Buying a domain name
Anyone know of a place where I can purchase a domain name pretty cheap. I have been searching around and looking at prices, but want to know if anyone can refer a really good place to me that is relatively cheap. I found some cheap ones, but don't know anything about their reputation. Also, a couple of places have sales on domains with .info instead of .com at the end. Does anyone know what the restrictions are for using a .info site?

godaddy is great and they usually have coupons. I have 4 domain names I have bought from them. I host them with other companies but I have bought them there

DH runs a small ISP and buys all our domain names (and those of our customers, if they want that service) at NameBargain.com - domain name, web site hosting, registration, email We own a lot of them (probably 15 or 20 for ourselves and more for the business) and have never had a problem. I've tried a few domain registrars (GoDaddy, 1and1 and NetworkSolutions) and GoDaddy is by far the best. The transfer time, expiration notices and customer service are far above the other two I tried.

I used GoDaddy to get my NotQuiteMrRight.com site and they've been great. They even have a tool that helps you to build the site. I haven't been working on mine much lately....I should really get back to that....

I have to say Godaddy also I have used them for years I even used to use their hosting services also.
