I as a teacher have to return on Aug. 27 and the students Sept. 4 th. Are your kids back in school?

Our kids returned on August 6 -- our teachers returned in JULY! My boys are already looking forward to Fall Break in October! I miss them but have managed to keep very busy. I just wish it wasn't so dadburn hot!!!

This is their first full week, had their half day on the 9th, and the temps are the hottest they've been!

8th grader starts Sept 6th 4th grader Sept 18th he's starting later since they are still renovating part of his school

My kids go back on the 27th..

WOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!

I've got their outfits laid out and the alarm clocks set already!! My daughter will be lucky if I slow the car down when we pass her school.. I can't wait to go get my Target on!

And the air conditioner in our gym is out. I felt so bad for the kids. The coaches had them running around and doing all this stuff.

Thank goodness we got new air conditioners in the classrooms over the summer. I have the one in my room on almost allll day

We start Monday!! All three of mine will be starting this year. I've got 5th grade, 3rd grade and 1st grade!! Actually I have had a really great time with them this summer and I am going to miss them!! They are excited though and love the teachers they have gotten so it'll be another great year.

Ours went back the 13th also.

I have 4 boys, one in 10th, one in 8th, one in 4th and one in 2nd.

I teach in a Catholic school. They put on an addition to our school about 4 years ago. That section has air conditioning. I am in the oldest part of the school so it is open windows and fans no air. It is in the 90's right now.

Thank Goodness school started on Aug. 8th. My kids were starting to really drive me crazy with all the fighting.

I saw on the news this morning that Nashville is having the kids go home after 1/2 the day on Monday because it is so hot (many of their schools are not properly air conditioned). I don't know how you stand it read52!
