Will you be watching High School Musical 2?

This has been a count down in our house all week. We have planned everything around not having any plans at 8:00 Friday! The pizza will be made and the phones in voice mail. And just to refresh our memories we watched High School Musical last night!

I personally may be watching the insides of my eyelids but I will be there to hear the "oooo" and "aaahhhh" over what's his name!!

Thank God NO! We are going out of town for a girls' (me and my DDs) weekend. If we were to be home, they could watch it in the play room as I can not stand that movie!! LOL

Um, no. I don't even know what this is. Yes, I have been living under a rock. I am guessing that my HS senior-to-be is going to be interested in "Superbad" though.

I still haven't seen the first one.

But, my 13 YO is going to a party tonight for it. I guess I'm in the dark, I didn't realize it was on TV. I thought they rented it or something.

They are showing it here at our Town Center in the community where I live on a huge projection screen. We have movies and such like this quite often. You bring your dinner and eat on the lawn and watch the movie. Quite Nice. We have bands perform once a week as well...as much as we pay in Association and CDD fees, we should have them perform at our house. LOL.

My 14 yo dd absolutely loves HSM and is counting down to HSM2. W/the last one, she went to a party but this year, she is staying home and relaxing and watching it. I didn't watch the first one until my dd got the dvd and I started watching it midway through and then WANTED to see the beginning. It was in fact a newer version of Grease for tweens and teens. No cussing/sexual stuff (Disney or course) just the boyfriend/girlfriend stuff and the girl "rivalries" along w/HS life. There is alot of singing and dancing (which my dd LOVES!). I even took my dd to HSM Live right after Christmas last year!

All in all, it's not a bad movie at all. I am actually planning on watching it w/my daughter tonight.

Oh yes, we will be watching it. My DD has planned this for weeks, even down to our Menu tonight. Bacon Cheeseburgers, Fries, Pasta Salad and Watermelon for dessert along with Cheddar Cheese Popcorn for the movie. I actually liked the first one so will be watching the second one as well.

My kids are counting down the minutes tonight. They can't wait.( dd is 7 and ds is 10) We are going to put in on the DVR.

I actually liked the first one. Don't know that I would watch it tonight, but will probably see bits and pieces of it over the weekend.

edited to add that the kids loved it. I ended up having to run some errands so didn't get to see the whole thing, but since it is on the DVR, I imagine we will be watching it a lot.

Ds said it was better than the first one!

LOL - We've been counting down all week too. We are having a big slumber party - the kids are having all their friends over. I am actually looking forward to watching it too - I really enjoyed the first one! Just got back from the store with all of our snack/healthy/junk food! :O)

Well, the critics at this house have spoken - it was a really fun sequel. Even DH watched!

I'm not a big fan of Sharpay (is that how you spell her name?), but the singing and dancing were fun, and I got chills at the end.

I think this one was somewhat cheesier than the 1st one, but still very enjoyable.

NEGATIVE. My son laughed at me when I asked if he wanted to watch it. He is 10 and my 6 year old daughter is not at all interested. She came home form school telling me about her little friends being in love with Zack Efron(maybe they have older sisters?).

We watched it, but we also had a Thunder and Lighting Storm and had to disconnect the TV while we were watching it. We also had it taping on the DVR. Thank goodness it is coming on again this weekend!!

Our DSL went down.. so here's my late response.

My dd had a HSM2 pizza party and we all watched it together. I wish I were about 14 years younger because that Zac Efron is a cutie. We love the HSM movies. The second was wasn't as good as the first IMO though. It was still good, and I'm sure we'll get it on DVD when it comes out.
