I would doubt they would let him on the show if he had serious criminal problems. I remember that one time they kicked the guy off the show when he was drunk and threatened one of the houseguests. I can't remember what season it was. Not to defend spousal abusers but IF that's his only record you never know what happened. I knew a woman who called the sheriff saying she was afraid, blah, blah blah and her husband wasn't doing anything. He's got a charge still on the wesbite against him. They are divorced now and we are no longer friends. And I KNOW he didn't do anything. So unless there's a lot more I wouldn't take that too seriously unless more info comes out.
