I would definitely complain. It would be one thing if the brush was on your property to begin with, obstructing the road or telephone wires or something like that, and they cleared it and left it on your property, but to have been from somewhere else, and then to leave it on your property is another. They had no right to do that. You should call them and ask for it to be removed immediately.

I would call and politely ask if they can come down and remove the brush that was dumped. Perhaps they didn't know it was private property....or maybe it is frontaage and/or easement or something (you mention a guard rail) and they thought it was town property. In any event, it can't hurt to ask! Maybe find out what the policy is on this while you are at it... cj/

I would call and ask questions...if they were planning on coming back and picking up the brush left behind yesterday? Maybe they have a different department to come and clean up? Depending on the answer, I would complain and demand that it be cleaned up.

Well, you all talked me into it! I called and could NOT find the right department, I went around and around on the stupid press this number phone thing. I will try again on MOnday. I htink they make it hard to find them , they don't want to hear complaints!

I hate those automated phone systems and always try to find the right buttons to get to a human as quickly as possible - even if it's not the right human. They're stuck with me! ![]() cj/

| When you call back on Monday, press '0' for operator when you get the automated system. If that doesn't work, just press whichever one is first and when that person answers tell them what you need and let them connect you to the right place.
