Exclamation Need Help with school Science Project

NEED IDEAS FOR A SCIENCE PROJECT:

Must be:

Unique
Something not proven or already done~ IE: Old family remedies, Folklore, myths, etc.....
Not complicated or expensive
Something that is testable and quick
Nothing to be tested on people
Does not have to work when tested

This is for my daughter's Honors Senior Thesis Class and is very important.

~~A prize will be given for the best idea that she can use~~

Thanks~jadeval76@aol.com

What are her interests? Math, Chem, the environment? Go from there and then it might be easier for her to come up with something.

Here are some ideas:

Do different brands of orange juice contain different levels of vitamin C?
How does heat affect the coagulation of eggs?
How does the sugar concentration vary in different brands of apple juices?
What factors affect the yield and composition of meat after cooking?
Which Pain Reliever Has a Faster Dissolution Time: Brand or Generic?

Sorry, but that's some list of wants you've got there!!! Seems like if it's supposed to be unique, it should be your daughter's idea and something she's thought up on her own that requires some thinking and imagination on HER part, not ours.

OP, I don't have any ideas to offer (no creative juices at the moment ), but I honestly think that brainstorming ideas is really an OK thing to do. It's not like you'll be doing the study or research, nor writiing the thesis, for the child. Gosh folks.....
