Well out the front window I see the neighbors across the street and the stop sign at the end of my yard. Bikers from the bike trail that refuse to stop at the stop sign. The back yard I see trees and dead grass. Well except for this big circle that is like 25-30 ft round that is green grass. It's really strange looking because that is the only green grass around. Reminded me of those alien crop circles. LOL You would think if the aliens were visiting my back yard they would be nice enough to get rid of the moles back there too! |

Mountains. We sit in a valley... We have the Bitterroot Mountains, The Rockies and the Hogback Mountains.... But, looking out my back deck THIS is what you see: The Sleeping Giant

Marilyn, what a gorgeous view you have! Looks to be very peaceful & quiet; one with nature. We pretty much see neighboring homes from the front yard and our back has a natural shrub fence, so we have privacy in the summer, but not winter.

Looking out my front door I see a new house going up just across the street. Used to be a nice wooded lot.....now a half finished home. Hopefully they will have it finished soon.....they woke me up early all summer long working on that thing at 6 am.....eeerrrrr. Looking out back I see a nice green yard with a wooden swing set and the tree line with lots of woods behind us.

Front - neighbors front window and the street. Office window - neighbors side window. Back sunroom windows - backs of neighbors houses, a brown yard, tampoline, pool Literally nothing interesting. That is one of the reasons I wanna move. I wanna see something besides my neighbors in various stages of dress and their houses. I want a nice view of the water and a pretty green yard. Guess, I can just keep on dreaming. |

Out the backdoor I see my nice deck that we had added on last fall, and I love, and in the front I see the road, cars, and the icky front walk and retaining wall..that are next for the remodel LOL

I see the neighbor's houses all around... every window. The funny thing is that the large, empty area of our yard has no windows looking out on it!!! We live on 1/3 acre in the middle of town. We are in escrow for 6 acres of property a few miles north of here. All of the acreage between us and town is now undeveloped, state land. Hopefully, no freeways or Walmarts will go in for the next 50 years or so! Here's a picture from during the rainy season... now it's gone to seed and is browning up. This will be the view from our kitchen window: ![]() We'll be building in a few years, when/if we have the money! |

We live in a new subdivision. Out the front of our house we have a finished street. Out the back, there's several houses under construcion and several empty lots, and further back there's a field that will eventually be more of the subdivision. Lisa

| window outlook
My window on the world I live on the first floor of my building in an apartment complex. I face the courtyard & from any of the front windows I see the building facing me. However for the most part the complex is calm and serene. My favorite view is out my bedroom window, the huge old Maple tree. She is big and beautiful when her leaves change colors and oh what a beautiful orange then red color do her leaves have. Last year during the blizzard her mighty branches held and cradled the snow like her babies. |

Out the front a street and neighbors' house with their 6 cars and a sign warning about a dangerous curve. Out the back a brown yard with 3 beautiful old oaks and a small wooded area, our fenced in dog yard (yes they have their own yard almost a 1/4 acre) and the spot where I hope to build a water garden next year if we aren't under water restrictions still. Front window-I see a small footbridge that leads to my sister in laws house. I also see their horses out in the pasture enjoying a nice (almost) fall day in Maine! Back window- I see our huge backyard, our screenhouse that we built last year, our firepit and my cat who is looking like he is ready to pounce on a bird that is at our birdfeeder.... |

Out my window in the livingroom I see a bush but when I look through the branches I see my neighbors perfectly manicured lawy. He mows daily and even mows patterns into the lawn. Out my back door I see my back yard sloping downhill and at the bottom is a drainage field that is host to all kinds of wildlife. They mow this field a few times a year, one year when they did a whole family of racoons came running out. The babies were so adorable. When the field is flooded we even have seen beavers there. |

I look out my sliding glass door and I see my patio that is off a parking lot. Next month I'm moving and my patio view will be on a golf course. Much better!

Well, when I look out the front window I see the rock road we live on (dead ends past us so only farmers and hunters drive back there) and there is a hayfield and a soybean field. When I look out the back door/patio french doors, I see a field and cows grazing there. I can see the small pond there also where the cows cool off. I can also see my bird feeders out by the electric fence. Sounds like I am one of few on here that live out in the country. |

Here's what I see. The fountain is just outside the family room window, and the wild life feeding area is just up the hill from the fountain. Obviously, they were taken during different seasons. You can click on the pictures to make them bigger.[IMG] [/IMG][IMG] [/IMG](Thanks Addison and Cuthie for your help. It took me a while, but I finally caught on. Just goes to show you that you can teach an old dog new tricks!) Last edited by freer; 09-03-2007 at 05:22 PM. |
