I just thought I hear a coyote howling (which I doubt, it was probably a dog) and got thinking about what scares me. Here are my top 3, please be specific if you can:


#1- Dh going out for a ride on the motorcycle
#2- a bear (one came up to my window and tried to get in)
#3- the kids choking

5. Did I mentoin Snakes??? I can't even watch them on TV, I freak out. Something about them not having legs, but can still kill you, gives me the willies!

dh driving(I was in tears the last time he drove on the highway in the rain.....and he got mad at me for being scared!!!!)
water,being on the water,in the water.even taking a shower,I can't ahve water on my face!!!you can thank my brothers for that.they used to pull me under teh water when I was 3 years old!!!

reptiles,any type,even lizards.....

3. Driving/Riding in the rain - I had a very bad car accident when I was 17 and shouldn't of lived through it. It was all because the car hydroplaned.

My mom thinks I was a witch in the old salem days because of the phobias I have about heights (hanging), fire (being burned at the stake), and drowning (I guess they used to drown them too.) I thought it was kind of interesting when she sad that about these phobias I have. Of course my fear of heights I blame on my parents not having a bumper pad when I came home from the hospital. They found me hanging from the crib by my diaper. I lost a boyfriend 19 years ago and you never really get over it. It was actually my son's father who he never knew. I have a horrible fear of ever having to live through that again. I don't know if I would have the strength to survive something like that again.

1. bugs, especially spiders!

Not a real fear, but I startle VERY easily.
Don't come up behind me without letting me know. And sometimes that will even startle me!
Sudden loud (or not) noises.
I have embarrassed myself many times by "screaming" at these times.

My oldest son just got his driver's license...so I'm scared to death that something might happen to him out on the road...I guess that has to be my biggest fear...something happening to one of my kids...

The sudden feeling of falling from way up high like on a ride...just to drop...

I hate the idea of being trapped. That just totally unnerves me... right along with floods and natural disasters like Tornados or hurricanes...

Tornadoes. No other weather freaks me out but tornadoes scare me big time. Maybe its because I live in a trailer....

Dark water where you can't see/touch the bottom. Even in swimming pools. My high school had a diving pool that was 12 feet deep and it was dark. There were lights in it which just made it all the more scary to me.
