Question Which diet plan food tastes the best?

My DH wants me to sign him up for one of the diet plans where you buy their food. My mom tried NutriSystem and thought it tasted awful. What are your opinions on it or Jenny Craig? Are there others? Thanks!

When I was following Weight Watchers I bought their frozen foods and thought they tasted pretty good - along with Lean Cuisine.
BUT, it flared up my fibromyalgia terribly - I think it was from all the chemicals.

I don't know where you are but my friend has a place that does her meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) for her with real food. They are called fresh & fit cuisine (freshnfitcuisine.com)
I think they may only be in the Atlanta area but I'd be willing to bet you have something similar locally.

Look at the ingredients on the package. I am very surprised that people who are trying to get healthy eat this stuff.
Instead eat a common sense diet or try a medditeranean diet or just cut back on fat, sugar, salt. The five things to keep out of your diet are
Enriched flours
High Fructose (or any) Corn Syrup
Hydrogenated fats
Sugar
Salt

All you have to do is eat unprocessed healthy foods and take a walk once a day to start. Don't fall for gimmicks. What happens when you lose all your weight? Do you have to keep eating that lousy processed crappy food the rest of your life?
Why don't they just teach you how to prepare your own healthful foods from scratch? Could it be they are more interested in making money than actually helping people get truly healthy?

Just think about it.

I agree with the previous poster.

I eat real foods. I do low carb and cut out all white sugar and flour. Right now while I am still losing I don't eat any fruits or grains but will add them back in when I am closer to my goal.

I eat tons of fish, chicken, meats and veges! Eggs and cheese too!

No low fat over processed stuff. Only real food!

Sorry some people feel the need to call you a fat, lazy cow without actually coming right out and saying it.

Here is a link that you might find of use. Fresh Cuisine Diet Review

Good luck with your search

My guess is OP and people who buy the packaged foods do so because of the convenience of the portions and the calories/fat already calculated. To me, that is a definite plus.

I'm not familiar with the diet plans' food. But the frozen Lean Cuisine meals aren't bad, IMO.

I like the lean cuisine...I have one just about everyday for lunch when the kids are in school...Keeps me on track, not skipping lunch, and keeps me from picking at stuff throughout the day...

I have never been on any plan other than WW but I have had some of their things and they were okay. I doubt anything processed would taste better than okay to me because I too like to eat "real" foods. I have heard others who have had nutrisystem stuff just hate it. I know one lady on The Zone and has a service delivery all her meals to her home prepared and ready to eat. It costs a lot but she doesn't have to do anything and she likes the food
