The post about fears got me to thinking, what is your earliest memory? It was Christmas and I was 22 months. I was sitting on the top of the rocking chair. I fell off and cracked my head open. I remember the rocking chair and Christmas tree. I remember being in the hospital and looking down from the bed. I am afraid of high places because of that fall.

I don't know how old I was ,but I remember seeing a snow globe flying around my head in my crib.I was scared so I climbed out of my crib and stood at the doorway and screamed for mommy.I must have screamed for 15 minutes before she finally came.

I do not remember anything before about 6th grade. I think I have completely blocked out my home life. Which is probably for the better anyways.

I remember when my brother was born. It was feb 14 1976. My dad and grandma left me home with my grandpa and he shared an entire tray of solid russell stover heart chocolates.(there were maybe 12 to the tray) I remember my grandma yelling at him because of it when they got back home but we had a good excuse for eating them LOL I wanted to know if the different foils on them meant they all tasted diffent

I am on my uncle's shoulders. And the song "Don't start thinkin' about tomorrow" is playing.

Come to find out, I was at the fair and our photo was in the paper. I have no idea how old I was - I am thinking around 3-ish.....

I was about 2 ish. I remember sitting on the toilet and trying to go and my Mom taking me off and pulling my pants up and then I peed. My Mom was mad but I could tell she was trying not to be. I also can remember puking at the grocery store around that same age. Fun memories, huh? LOL

I remember Romper room (TV show),waiting day after day for that lady to see me in her mirror but she never said my name EVER!

I had just woken up from a nap in the crib and looked out the window where the neighbor lady was talking with her son. I must have been about 18-20 months old.

Was when I was 5 years old and I was killing ants with a coke bottle and I threw the broken bottle in the yard and stepped on it and was taken to the ER for stitches...now where was my mama when I was playing with a broken bottle...hmmmm

My mom crying because JFK had been shot.

I don't know how old I was, but I was being potty trained. I was trying to help my mum and grandma do dishes and I fell off the chair and hit my ear on the potty chair. Need to get stitches in my ear. Don't remember that, but I remember getting a green lollipop afterwards.

The earliest that I remember is when I was 2 years old and packed my own bag and ran away from home during the night!!! My parents didn't even find me til later the next day - guess cause they didn't even notice I was gone til the next morning!!!

I as a child had an older brother with severe heart problems so I was always dumped off on whoever had the time to care for me while my parents were with him in another state at the hospital!!!

I was sitting on the floor in an archway between the living room and dining room playing with blocks. I think I was about 3.

Blowing /chasing bubbles in the yard @ about 18-20 months old.
Squatting down and screaming for my mother as I was turning blue (again) and getting a ride in an ambulance for the first time, @ about 2 years old.
Being in the hospital several times as a very young toddler and getting prepped for heart surgery at age 2years 363 days....lol

My mother was quite freaked out when I mentioned recently about riding in a specific type of rolling cradle at the hospital.

I remember... waking up during the night crying.. I was probably about 3. Standing in my crib crying and my older brother appeared at the door shushing me and my mom came in seconds later..LOL
