I was at TjMaxx the other day and there was a guy in there with his pants so low Mr Winkie could have peeked out. I saw his ENTIRE pair of underwear, fly, butt, the whole thing. He didn't even need to wear pants, they weren't doing anything but making him walk funny so they didn't fall down. I was waiting for my 4 year old to say something, but thankfully she didn't see him. I thought about saying something to an employee, but I didn't even know what to say? There's a naked guy in isle 4?


How much lower can they get? Why wear any jeans at that point? And if you wear them low, at least get some cool undies, not just blue Hanes.

Seriously, I've never seen them that low. The worst I've seen is about an inch more than the elastic part on a pair of boxers.

Maybe it's the urban area I am in?There was a guy walking a couple weeks ago and his pants were under the cheeks of his butt, I could see the crack when I drove by. You would think that would be indecent exposure or something?

I always have the urge to walk up behind them and yank them up like I did to my kiddies when they were little.

before my dad died (heart failure) he had no problem going up and yanking them down.. he would tell them either Ipull them down or I kick them up your A$$.. either way your going to show me some respect when your in the presence of my wife.. lol he had no tolerance for that.

I think it has sort of faded as a fad. I don't see near as many wearing them like that. ok, when I do, it is disgusting. Seems no business has a dress code anymore, it's ridiculous to see them getting paid to adjust their pants all the time, and to see 14 bra straps on young girls with their boobs hanging out of the low cut tops as well. They leave nothing to the imagination.

They are now making womens jeans that expose the top of their butt,so I don't see the fad ending anytime soon.This girl that lives across from me goes to town wearing her jeans with half her butt crack exposed!
I honestly don't see what is so attractive about butt cracks!

I hate it!!!! used to be just fat men has this problem and people laughed at them. now all the kids are doing it and as the other poster said, its a prision thing. called easy access.

The lower the pants - the lower the IQ

The biggest thing is, do they realize how stupid and unattractive they look? I mean droopy drawers and your BVDs hanging out, does that really do anything for anyone? On the other hand, nice abs and a pair of low rise jeans on a man, YUMMY!

Around here they have went from showing just below the waist band to completely under their butts. I have no clue what the appeal of wearing your pants like this is. It looks so dumb. My 16 yo tries to let his slide down his booty. Just as soon as we see them he has to get a belt on and get them up were they belong.

BTW, thanks for the info about it being a prison thing. Maybe that will change his attitude toward wearing them so low.

My husband works in a prison, and if this is a prison thing, you would think that because all clothes are issued at the prison, that they could prevent this low hanging pants thing. I will have to ask him about this.....

I don't know but this whole thing just makes me want to take my little brother (who is not small) shopping and the next person I see with thier pants like that walk up to them and say "hey that guy over there is looking at your butt" and then wait for them to look over at my brother and have him smile tilt his head and wave to them. The crazy thing is my brother will do anything, him and his buddies are all nuts.

My husband said that he was not aware that it was a prison thing. Maybe it is a regional prison thing?? (We are in Washington State....)

I saw a guy in Kmart once with them that low. He picked up a large cooler and was carrying it to the checkout on his shoulder.
About half way up the aisle his pants dropped to the floor. I was right behind him and I busted out laughing very loudly. He dropped the cooler, yanked up his pants and ran out of the store. To this day I still don't feel bad about that. When my now 24 yr old son used to wear his pants like that I would pull them down in public all the time. (Well anytime he let me walk behind him) Everytime I did it I would say "Oh, I thought you wanted me to help you get them the rest of the way off!" He stopped wearing them around me like that after a few times.

I was watching a show on tv last nite called lock down. its about a prison and there was a few of the inmates wearing their pants like that and they were made to pull them up. the people who was doing the interview said it was in all prisons and and they were trying to stop it . wish they could stop it out in the streets. lol

Since all clothes in prison are prison-issued, this should not be a problem. They don't get to pick and choose their attire. If the clothes don't fit, they are turned in and new ones are issued. Any corrections officer would be able to tell if clothing is not fitting appropriately. This problem could easily be remedied, in my opinion. At least in prisons. In the real world, you never know.
