Maybe a fall decoration such as a small bunch of Indian corn tied with an orange ribbon -- something like that you could hang on a door for an autumn look. A small blooming mum plant with a ribbon for a doorstep decoration. These would be under $5.00. Can you tell I've started my fall decorating???? And my fall cleaning too!! My house has been getting attacked and its looking good around here!!

It seems that grandparents have everything! I'm always looking for useful ideas. What about a gift card to a local grocery store, Blockbuster or restaurant? Maybe a book of stamps? A holiday decoration of some sort? A nice picture frame or a recent new book? Maybe a fruit basket? I don't know - that's all I can think of at the moment. Lisa

Gift certificates or "coupons" for services to be provided. A lawn mowing, a ride to the grocery store, a day with an "adopted" grandchild where the child makes the lunch, pet care, a home cooked dinner cooked at their own home or yours. Grandparents don't relly need more "things" they appreciate experiences that make memories or help with services that they may have problems performing themselves. They enjoy company and someone to talk to.
