So what do you think kids are going to wanting for Christmas?

Now that everyone is finally healthy, older kids are back in school, and DH is working hours that involve us not seeing him, I've decided it's time to start Christmas shopping......my kids aren't really asking for anything in particular this year, so what do you think are going to be the must have items this year?

My kids range from 12 to 3.......

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.....

I have an 8 year old dd who is still young enough that she is happy with anything! She wants everything she sees! LOL So I've got her done already with Target toy clearance with the exception of getting some stocking stuffers from Target's dollar spot. We are considering getting the Nintendo Wii for a family gift.

My 10 year old dd wants an American doll for Christmas. My 11 year old son wants an Xbox 360. His birthday is in November so if everyone gives him money for his birthday then maybe we will pay the difference for either his birthday or Christmas depending on the price and how much he can pay. The Wii is a lot of fun and would make a great family gift. It will get everyone off their feet playing.

My 8 yr old ds wants a Nintendo DS Lite and about a dozen games for it! No, he is not getting all the games but will get 2 or 3. He is also getting some clothes, and he wants a boom box to go in his room.

My son wants smackdown VS. raw 2008 for the PS2, it doesn't release until November. Then he would like guitar hero 2. He is 10.

DD is 5 and would like anything to do with coloring, strawberry shortcake, dora, princesses, my little pony, care bears, hannah montana, power rangers, littlest pet shop, bratz or barbie.

just WEBKINZ - that's all our girls talk about...

I think they'd also be thrilled with some "littlest pet shop" toys, some jewelry, and tomagochis.

They are also HSM2 fans, so maybe the movie - it comes out on DVD in early December...Disney is taking preorders for it now.

Well it is iPhone and the new touch-screen iPod at my house........
Will they get them? Will have to wait and see.....Prices of both have come down
But my "kids" are 14 and 17 and they usually only ask for one thing for Xmas and birthday; so their one thing is more expensive but they really are happy with only one thing.

My son told me tonight he wants to go see the Carolina Panthers play football for his christmas and birthday gift. His birthday is Dec. 17th. Not sure yet if he will get it as it would entail a family trip from Mass to North/South Carolina ( Heck I dont even know where they play lol) plus the cost of the tickets.

Me I want the DVD Happy Feet lol Im easy.

My son hasn't really said yet. My 17 yr old DD probably just wants me to give her car back to her (mine broke down), my 13 yr old wants a new computer (that's Granddaddy's job, and my 4 year old wants everything she sees. So who knows. My dad will buy my DD her computer, he's brought the oldest ones theirs. My twins are older now and don't ask for much anymore, last year I hooked them up with movie tickets, gift cards from different fast food places and gift cards from their favorite stores and they were happy, so will probably do that again this year.

My son has a birthday in December also, so we normally buy a bunch of gifts and split them between the two holidays.

So far I have only gotten him one gift : a Pokemon Island DVD game. It is only available at Walmart, and ours didn't carry it, so I ordered it from the .com place for store pickup.

We play a lot of board games - monopoly being our favorite - so I also plan on getting him a couple Monopoly games. Like the Here and Now and Spongebob versions.

I hadn't heard of the Pokemon DVD game before, I do have a Pokemon Freak in the house, so I'll have to check that out......We got the kids a Wii last year, so I will get them a couple of games for that, and one new one for their DS's....other then that I'm writing ideas done as I see 'em......thinking of doing all my x-mas shopping from the computer this year...I love Christmas, but hate shopping.

Pokemon Champion Island DVD Board Game - Wal-Mart

I noticed it and showed him and he thought it looked pretty cool. Other than that, he has not really mentioned anything except more Monopoly games.

My son loves Pokemon and YuGiOh. We already have the other 2 Pokemon board games.

My DS2, who is my pokemon freak is also a Yugi oh freak too! I go a little crazy when he starts talking details......I have no clue, and sometimes I 'm ashamed that I just shake my head and say "yep" or "wow' or something.....

I ordered the DVD game, thanks for the link

DS never really asks for much, but for some reason I always buy a lot. All he said he wants is Stratego and Sponge Bob Squarepants Lego set of the Crusty Crab....However, DH and I decided a couple of months ago his one big gift from will be a Trampoline with the enclosures.

I want a new digital camera (preferably a Kodak)
DH wants a something I'm sure I wont be able to find......He wants a DVD set of a cartoon they have on about 8 years ago, where the Transformers were animals and not cars. If anyone has ever seen it let me know, but I have been looking for a few months and haven't been able to find it. I'm sure the look would be easier if I knew what it was called, so if you can at least help with that I would appreciate it!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! Just another reason why these boards are the best, someone always knows the answer you are looking for. $140 is a little pricey, but he is worth it and he will be so happy!!! Thank you again!

My four year old grandson will ask for a toy and bacon.
He asks for bacon every year.
No one knows why, but Santa always brings him a package of cooked bacon!
Last year, Santa remembered him from the year before............I wonder why?!??!!
