Smile Wedding is on

Kelly and Luke (after hours/days of talking and a long counseling session with our pastor) have resolved their differences -- which, btw, did not involve cheating and I should have made that clear in my original post.

We are all very happy that they are getting married.

Thanks for the prayers and support: it was a very, very rough week.

Glad to hear all is going well.....so when is the wedding? I'm sure it must be a very nerve wracking experience planning a wedding.

Happy to hear that they worked things out! Maybe the scare was a good thing in the long run. Now they know that marriage takes good communication and alot of hard work!

Yep, that's pretty much what the pastor said, too. He said that their ability to work through this problem was a very positive indication that they really do have good communication.

The wedding date is October 6 -- so we were really cutting it close.

I'm sure the four of us will be saying some special "thank you, Lord" prayers in church today

Great news, glad they were able to work things out. This is such a stressful time for any young couple and it really shows how much they care for each other to not just give up, to work it out. Good luck to you all!
