If you use hotmail, you must have gotten switched to the new LIVE version by now, I think they switched everyone.

Problems... My mail used to sort with new msgs on the bottom , now they appear on the top. Yes, I can click and sort it, but my preference won't stick and everytime I log in, it's back to the old way!

Also, I have some mailing lists that I belong to, they must seem like junk to hotmail although I have their addresses in my contacts. So, although it allows the msg. into my inbox, not my junkmail box, it asks if I recognize the address. I have to click yes. Then it asks if it should unblock the content?? Geesh, it's like 4 clicks, just to read the msg!

Anyone else having trouble? I tried help at hotmail, it's NO help?

Mine got changed... I couldn't stand it! I went back to the old Hotmail. There is a link somewhere on the site (it might be under 'options'). I did it a few weeks ago and can't remember where I clicked to get the old Hotmail back. Maybe worth investigating? I feel for you.

I switched and then went back because I couldn't stand LIVE either. The other day I got an email saying they were switching everyone shortly-no choice, so I opted to do it then and avoid the rush!! I don't like it at all, but short of changing an email address I have had for 7 years I figured I have to live with their "progress"!

I am getting messages in my regular email area-not junk- that are from people not on my contact list or safe as far as I know..They are from a bulletin board I belong too and they used to all go into my junk mail..I can't figure out why they all-tons- arising in my regular area?? I've eliminated anyone off my contact list I know longer know or email..Any suggestions? I checked under options but couldn't find anything to go back to the old version-tho maybe it's no longer available..

Add me to the list that does not like the new Live Hotmail. I couldn't find anywhere that would allow you to go back to the old version. If anyone knows if you can and how to do it, please let us know!

janpacs... under options there is somewhere you can tell hotmail to put ONLY emails into your inbox that you have a contact set up for. Then, for mailing lists that you belong to, but people that you will never reply to, put those emails under "safe" or something like that. This way they go into your inbox too. Nothing else will go in!


tag114 I clicked on the the top right side to revert back to the old version. It does not work?! I tried it numerous times!

I was trying to figure out today how to get it to stop blocking content/links/pictures from messages in my inbox. It is a pain to have to click on each message to get it to show in full. Never found a way to do it.

I use hotmail as a backup. I absolutely hated the live beta version also and went back to the old version.

i also hate it. i can't figure out how to have 100 messages on a page. i also miss the favorites on the contacts when you are writing an email. and it is a real PAIN to have to go thru all the steps to open up a message. and i tried the beta version several times and always went back to the old version. that should have told them something.
