Longest Lasting Nail Polish??

I don't paint my nails very often because when I do my nail polish is usually chipped within an hour or two of doing them, which is very annoying.......I recently found the Sally Hansen 10 day no chip nail polish, it lasted my around 5 days, which for me was a miracle, but they dont' have very many colors, are there any other good nail polishes out there, that last more than a day?

I like OPI nail polish. It hardens fast and it lasts.
They also have every color under the rainbow and are adding more colors constantly.
Their polishes have cute names too.

Go to:
Welcome to OPI.com

There's a store locator there also.

OPI is usually sold in salons and runs maybe $7.00 a bottle. I've seen it for sale in both expensive and inexpensive salons. Their website will help you narrow down where it is sold in your area.

If you are buying special items from their line like maybe something that helps nail grow stronger, that will cost more.

I second OPI. It's the best. I own a salon and it's the only brand I will use or sell.

Opi is good I will second that but if you have your hands in water all the time its going to chip just as much as the cheap stuff, your best bet is apply a undercoat of clear , then paint nails 2 coats is best and then
use a top coat making sure each has dried well, but like I said above I am one of those that cant keep
nail polish on either possibly wearing gloves might be the trick also.

OPI is good, but only if you can open the bottle! I like Orly, which is also expensive, but CVS has it, and the lid has a rubber grip on it. I'm impatient, so I use the fast dry topcoat. Oh, and do remember to check the mark-down racks in salons and beauty supply stores, since expensive nailpolish has seasons, and last season's colours get put on clearance.

I agree with the OPI. It lasts longer than any I've ever had. Most nail salons sell it - and if you find a color you like - sometimes you can find it on ebay.

Just got back from my errands, figured out that the salong that I go to sells it, I just never noticed it before since it's in the back where they do the manicures, etc.....My hairdresser saw me and thought she double booked an appt. or something, once I explained whyI was there, she showed me the nail polish.......when she rang me up she only charged me 3.50 a bottle.......will try it tonight....

Thanks

I've had great luck with Revlon Color Stay nail polish. I used it on my toes this summer and it lasted almost a whole month. I was shocked that it lasted so long. I got it for cheap at CVS using coupons & ECB and then earning more ECB. I also like OPI & Orly.

I definitely second the OPI brand. One thing I do that helps tremendously is to add a coat of clear topcoat every morning... Cookie

This is the brand that they use at the nail salon I go to. I'm on week 3+ of the same polish. No chips. If I painted my nails at home, I'd probably buy this because it does last so long.

OPI is for me!

It's totally worth the extra price. I do my toes with it with no top coat and it lasts forever!
