What is an internet presale for ticket and..

What is an internet presale for tickets for a concert? I don't go to many concert so how does this work. Hannah Montana is coming to our area onDec 6th, and on ticketmaster it says they have an internet presale (sep 25th) not open to the general public. Who is it open for then? My SIL and I want to take our girls but I have heard that this concert is hard to get tickets for. How does this work also if I just want to go to the box office and buy the tickets instead of paying ticketmasters outrages fees. Any advice would be appreciated? Anyone have any luck getting these tickets? TIA

I've read that it is not worth it. I believe you pay an additional $$ and then you still don't get tickets. I've read that tickets have been selling out within 4mins. I've only read of 2 different people getting HM tickets out of hundreds. Amazing how these are going. Someone mentioned grocery stores that have ticketsmaster are sometimes easier. good luck

Internet presales need a password. You usually can get one by signing up for info on a fan site or something. I'll have to see if she is coming here, my dd's would love it!

Good luck with this. I made a separate post on TC about attempting to buy these tickets. You'l have an easier time getting tickets to a Beatles reunion concert - and that'd be IMPOSSIBLE as they can't reunite! I've never in my life had such a time with getting concert tickets and I've been to some hot concerts....

The presale is open to members of Miley Cyrus's fanclub website, Mileyworld.com. To get a presale code, you must join the club and pay $29.95 for a membership. We bought my daughter the Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus CD and inside it had a free 30 day membership to her fanclub. You do have to register a credit card with them to get the free 30 days.

After you register, you can click on the area that says "Tickets" and click on the "Buy Presale Ticketmaster" button on show you're interested in. When you do, a code will pop-up - Write it down, as that is your presale code you must enter at Ticketmaster. I suggest going ahead and creating an account with Ticketmaster before the tickets go onsale.

I'm sure the number of presale tickets at each venue is not that large, so I don't know how to tell you to be successful at buying them. Good luck and I hope this helps.
