Please, any quick suggestions for mother/daughter clothes?

I need to find something before this Sunday, either matching or very similar, clothing for my daughter (7) and I to wear. We've been selected to participate in a mother/daughter look alike contest! We actually do look very much alike (I've been told my many people she's my "mini-me"), but several friends have advised me that we should dress as similar as possible, to help enphasize how much we resemble each other. (We even have the same haircut!) It would be awesome to win this - one of the prizes is a trip to Bermuda!

I don't have enough time to order something online. We have all the usual stores here, Kohl's, Macy's, Belk's, Dillards, JCP, Steinmart....

Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated!
Suzanne

Jeans and a white button down shirt. Go pick out matching scarves to tie around your waist. That way people will be less focused on your clothes and more on how much you really look a like....

I found clothes in the same patterned fabrics at Old Navy that my daughter and I wear! We both got pink shirts that had the same floral print - she was 3 and I found the same print for my size medium adult ladies shirt!

Not sure if they do this all the time, but worth a try. I imagine you could look at the Gap, too.

Some of the Gymboree stores have "family dressing" - mother dresses that match the kids.

Good luck!

I love the white shirt & jeans suggestion. If this is a fancier affair how about white shirts, black pants and matching scarves or belts or handbags.

ITA with this suggestion.......My daughter doesn't even have her own name when we are around my family, they also call her Nicole (which is my name) because she looks so much like me, and when we dress similar, it's ridiculous how much we look alike....

Good Luck! A trip to Bermuda would be wonderful
