Anyone watch Burn Notice?

I recorded this on the DVR, but when DH and I were watching it late last night I passed out, well just went to finish watching it, and realized that DH deleted it on me.........UGH! Can anybody tell me how it ended? Last thing I remember was the couple getting killed during the drug deal going bad, and Sam getting kidnapped.......

TIA!

I love this show! So here goes. SPOILERS AHEAD FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T WATCHED YET.

Fi called Michael, who was waiting for the guy who burned him. Michael left a note, "John 3:16" in chalk on the sidewalk and went to meet Fi to rescue Sam. Michael met with Miami's second largest heroin importer to find out who was smuggling the heroin. I don't quite remember the connection, but he and Fi found out the name and tracked them to a boat docked near Biscayne Blvd. -- and they figured that was where Sam was being held. Michael contacted them and set up a meeting away from the boat.

In the meantime, Michael went to meet the guy who burned him (who was played by the guy who was a well-known actor from West Wing - can't remember his name or character). When they were meeting, the guy was shot dead from afar and blood spattered all over Michael. By this time, Mike was scared and didn't know what was happening, so he called his brother to come pick him up.

Michael, Fi, Michael's brother and the mom went to Michael's brothers house/condo, which was a fabulous (but unfurnished) place that the brother had bought in foreclosure (talk about making it timely!). Michael wanted his mom and brother to get out of town while all this was going down, so he began driving them to Fort Lauderdale and gave the mom and brother new cellphones for "emergencies." Well before they got out of Miami, there were cars following them because the mom had used her phone.

The ones following them were connected to the guy who burned Michael. Mike got out of the car, let the mom and brother continue in the car and gave himself up -- sort of. His cell phone rang and it was a lady who said "they" wanted to bring Michael in. Michael convinced them that he needed 12 hours for a job and then he would turn himself in. They agreed.

Mike and Fi went to the boat where Sam was being held and when the heroin dealers left, they rescued Sam.

It ended with Mike and Sam driving away in Sam's Cadillac and then a message came through OnStar or something saying it was time for Mike to turn himself in. Mike dropped off Sam, took the Cadillac and started driving over what looked like the Overseas Highway to Key West.

Right in the middle of nowhere, the voice came through OnStar again and said that Mike had reached his destination, which was a tractor trailer truck with the back door open and a ramp to drive his car up into it. He drove the car up the ramp, the door closed and Mike's voiceover came on saying something like, "When you make choices in life, sometimes you have to risk your life to find answers."

And that is how it ended!

A commercial came on saying to watch for futher developments when Burn Notice returns -- next Summer!

I just watched it last night in a repeat on USA, so it was fresh in my mind.

It was a two-hour one -- not sure if you knew that. So this is long.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! I was so upset when I saw that he had deleted it on me, but I'm really happy to hear that it will be back. I thought it turned out to be a great show!

Thanks so much for the recap! Was wondering if they guy who played Micheal's brother was the same actor who appeared earlier in the series.......DH and I were debating it, but neither one of us knows who was right....LOL!

I love this show and am glad that it was renewed for a second season. I didn't think too many people were noticing it, but in last weeks Entertainment Weekly, it was the "Reader's Choice" pick for THE MUST LIST. Gotta love Bruce Campbell, lol.

I think you are right that it is a different person playing Michael's brother. The guy on this last show looked so familiar that I looked him up on IMDB.com. He was the brother on Providence.

Actually per my TV schedule they are reshowing the 2 hour final again at 10:07 CST tonight ( Monday night 09-24-07) on USA.

Oh I do love Burn Notice!
~sigh~ I wish it was on all year long.
I really do!
BUT at least it will be returning next summer and that's better than not returning at all.

Same guy as before, just less scruffy.

A shave will do wonders for a guy.
Even during the program Mike commented on his brothers shave.
