How many times do you change your clothes?

I realized today how often I jump in and out of different clothes. I always have changed as soon as I come home, I'm a dirt magnet at home......LOL, but I've been home not working for a bit, getting well, and I will be in my jammies, change into jeans to run out to the store, come home, jump back in my jammies, sometimes I have to do this two or three times a day. I've gotten pretty fast at it LOL..but wonder if you all "get comfy" as soon as you get home, or keep your street clothes on at home too...

Usually I will get changed 1 or 2 times a day, depending on the day.

If it is a week day and I know that I will be in school. I get up, get dressed and then usually stay in those clothes until I head to bed. I have to wear scrubs to school that day because we are doing something in the lab, then I will get changed when I get home.

I also plan on getting into the habit of changing clothes every day right when I get home from work (when I start working), I want to cut down on all the germs that I could bring home to the family.

I work on call ALOT and usually keep the scrubs on until either I am off call or its time to take a bath. sometimes, i get in the pj's and then get called out so back into a scrub suit. I feel like I should just sleep in the dang thing sometimes.

I do the same thing also. I even change back to my "go somewhere" clothes to walk to the mailbox. I have no idea how many times I change a day, but it's a lot. I like to be comfy while I'm at home.

I usually wear my same shirt & just change to jogging pants for bedtime & I usually change at least one or two times during the day usually shirt only also because it will get dirty from the kids or doing dishes or whatever

I usually wear the same thing all day until close to bedtime (or if I get really dirty... then I'll take a shower before changing). I wear comfy clothes -- jeans and teeshirts -- at home and out-and-about so really no need to change too often.

I really like to be comfortable at home, so whenever I'm going somewhere, I change to regular clothes. At home it's very casual, a t shirt and shorts. I try to look like I'm something when I go out! But at home it's all about comfort.

For those who stay in the pajamas inside the house, what do you do when people stop over? Do you have children and do they and their friends run in and out?

I dress casually for work and the only time I change is to go to the gym or workout and to go to bed. Personally, when I find myself wanting to be in my jammies, it means that I've put on weight. and am not comfortable in my everyday clothes.

If I know the kids are going to pop in and out, then I definately keep on sweats, or my jammie bottoms and a tshirt..who cares what those kids say anyway? LOL. I usually never have someone "popping" in so I know in advance if it's someone I need to care if I am dressed or not. Like today, I put on jeans and tshirt, ran out to get the paper, came home changed into jammies again..had to drive DD to a local event, changed back into jeans, came home, and jumped into jammies again LOL. Thing is..I know I have to go out at least one more time..I've become so quick at changing. I keep the days "change into" clothes folded on the corner of my dresser.

I get so many wears out of my clothes LOL...I will hang them back up at the end of the day..or not if I got dirty or if I've done the above in and out dance another day or so with them.

Wish my kids would do the same thing...wouldn't be so much laundry to do right? LOL.

As soon as I come home from work the clothes come off! LOL Sometimes I put on a long T-shirt or jammies. If I know I have to go out or on weekends I have jeans and a shirt ready to go. I know when someone is coming over. Since I live alone if I don't know someone is coming over I just don't answer the door. All my family and friends know to call first.

For me, if people stop by without my prior knowledge that they were coming they don't get to come in. I don't answer the door. I have 2 DS's 16 and 13 so there are constantly kids coming and going. Personally, I'm not in jammies while at home, well til after 9/10pm. Usually just sport shorst/sweats and tee. So it doesn't bother me for the kids friends to see me not properly dressed.

When I come home from work, I usually shower and then throw on a pair of jeans/shorts/sweats and tee. Usually the tee is what I wear to bed. (I usually don't get home from work no earlier then 10 pm). When I have off it's just jeans and a tee shirt. If we go somewhere I might put on another top.

Monday thru Friday I wear 3 different things a day. I wear my dress clothes for work. After work I change into something casual and comfortable. Then, before bed I put pj's on. On the weekends I wear something casual all day and only change at night when I put my pjs on for bed.

I change from the work clothes almost as soon as I walk in the door. I wear house" comfy clothes ratty old tank top and mens boxers then change into a sleep shirt. Except for Wed when I have a church service and wear my work clothes or something equally nice.

I have my take the kids to school clothes that I jump into in the mornings, and if I have nothing going on in the morning then I stay in them till I get my "chores" done, then take a shower and change, pick the kids up, run them where ever they need to go that day, come home and change into my "comfy" clothes, cook dinner get the kids ready for bed, then I get ready for bed.....

There are days where I have meeting or other things to attend to, that I have to "dress" for, so that's another change of clothes....but even with my changing of clothes I don't have that much laundry just from me.....DH only changes once a day and still manages to produce 3X as much laundry!

Max change is 2 times
wake up, get dressed (no jammies...nude sleeper..I know TMI!). The only time I would change is if I go to the gym so I would shower after and put back on my regular clothes
