Hi, i was just wondering when everyone puts up their Halloween/ Fall decorations ? I havent seen anyone in my area with any out. Im thinking i might put mine up tomorrow. I decorate outside a little and inside also.

I just put mine up today because its beautiful outside.

Hubby's doing it as I type. Not so much Halloween as Fall - corn stalks, hay bales, scarecrows, etc.

When I cleaned house this past Wednesday, I put ours up - mostly inside stuff. We have a couple of things up outside, but we really don't have much in the way of outside decor. Some lights hanging inside the windows, a Halloween sign that you stick in the ground, our Halloween flags and a witch that looks like she crashed into our front door. I will string up the Halloween spiderwebs later this week.

I love Halloween! My favorite holiday, I love this month and hopefully, it usually means cooler temperatures...

Usually the weekend before Halloween. I started doing this when the kids were little and couldn't handle weeks and weeks of waiting. I've kept on doing it this late as they've gotten older... maybe because now I am old and lazy.

I don't think I'm going to this year. Just too busy and its going to get worse before it gets better. I don't want to have my Halloween stuff up at Christmas. LOL I'll change my mailbox flag and my front door hanging next week, but that's about it. No cornstalks or pumpkins or ghosts this year.

I put outside things out yesterday. Inside decor a few days ago.


I actually drove by a house a few miles from us that had their yard decked out in halloween decor around the time the kids went back to school (aug 25). Very tacky in my opinion.

I am ridiculously into the whole Fall thing , weather getting cooler, holidays on the way. So back in the middle of September I put our Fall wreath up, and inside stuff. Now that October is here I am going to kick Halloween into full gear and get it all up this week. I like doing a "Fall display" as my daughters call it (every year we make their pictures by it) . We put a hay bale out front, a scarecrow beside it, and sit some mums and pumpkins around it.

I actually told my brohter today, that we would put mine up Saturday. I make a competition out of it with family and friends. Just to get my yard done quickly. I remember when my mom started it when I was in my teens, I could not believe how competitive adults could be. When it was finished people constantly past to see it. The guy who does the lawn thought my mom had lost it and buried someone in her front yard. Because of some creative thinking of my god brother to dig up the front yard and use wood plaques to make head stones. Try it, neighbors will come running with their hands full willing to help out and to add their own touches.
