Jon and Kate plus 8

I fell in love with this family and am just letting you know the season premier comes on tonight at 8.
I watched it last night and it was so funny to see their faces when the reporter asked them if they were going to have anymore..lol

My husband and I call her a royal bi-otch. Do you see how she treats her dh? She acts like he is one of her kids. I used to really enjoy the show in th begining, but now she grates on my nerves.

I think the network puts on a lot of her being grumpy...maybe makes for a better show?

I personally think I am the same way Kate is sometimes...I get crabby and I am sure it would be better viewing then when I am happy go lucky.

I really like this show. I agree with above posters - they have to make the show interesting No one is patient all the time. I would definitely recommend it.

I've watched the show a few times and got hooked on it. I do think she's grumpy for lack of a better word sometimes. I'm sure people would think that I'm "grumpy", too, if they saw me at home w/the kids most days.

I really don't know how they handle all those kids. I'd be crazy.

I can't stand her. She treats her husband bad.
And always making the kids matchy matchy do they get free clothes from Gap? I have dressed my twins alike maybe 5 times and they are 2 years old.

I have 8 kids too and I don't think I get half as *itchy as she does.

I watched the show once and that was enough for me!

She was grouching about having to do so many loads of dishes so they switched to paper plates. I have the same amount of kids and NO dishwasher, I still do the dishes by hand, no paper plates here!

I love that show but I always seem to miss it. My kids are 8,6 and 4 (with another one on the way ). There are days I thought I'd go nuts so I couldn't even imagine what it's like to have *6* children the *same* age. My hat's off to her and her husband. I admire all moms of multiples.

I find her energy simply amazing. I have 4 kids and I just don't know how in the world she goes all the time. Maybe it's just for the show and she takes a break in her 'real life' ha ha. On their website there is a linky thing to Gap, so maybe they do give them free clothes for the advertisement. Heck I'd take advantage of that if I had 8 kids too though. I emailed TLC as it is being advertised as only being on the Discovery Health network this season, but they said it's on Monday nights on TLC. I don't know how I missed it last Monday, but will be looking for the show tonight. Did anyone watch it on TLC last week?

I think Kate runs circles around her husband and that makes her come across as being a little hateful at times. He seems like he kinda takes it easy for the most part when he is home, of course he does work out of the house all day, but staying home with that many kids especially is a HUGE job too. Cudos to them both though the kids all seem to be well adjusted and well taken care of. Great show.

She is 'hyper' and he is 'laid back'... they both acknowledge this about each other and about themselves! She really does have a high energy level.

A lot of it is about *control* too. When I watch it, I feel an inkling of how I had to handle toddlerhood (ie scheduled naps, playtime, and meals... the schedules are all about *control*) because I so often felt out of control with it all after leaving a teaching job to be a stay-at-home mom -- she was a nurse.

It will get easier as the children get older. Hopefully, Jon and Kate can appreciate one another's strengths and not give up on their marriage in the midst of all of the wildness! Yikes. I do think that they have a deep love and commitment to one another that may not come across on the TV screen because it is TV!

LOL... I also think that they have a contract with GAP, since that is what her kids wear most of the time. I also wonder if they have a contract with Whole Foods since that is where they show the family buying their groceries... Hmmm.
