I don't have mine listed because I am doing the secret buddy exchange and someone pointed out that if our locations are in our profile then our buddy may be able to figure out who we are before the end of the swap.

The only reason I leave my location is because I trade a lot of coupons. Some people "need" the coupons quickly (for sales and such) and they would arrive quicker from someone closer to them. Otherwise I wouldn't have mine showing either.

Mine says Pennsylvania and I refuse to go into more detail than that online for my location / profile. I have seen too many "bad things" online to feel comfortable posting more than that. I do belong to a different, small, board where the members know my location - but we all know each other quite well from long time online friendships.

I'm not in tn anymore so while people may have something in there, it may not even be where they are. I dont know anyone here well enough to feel a need to let them know and I've been around a long time now

I don't feel comfortable letting anyone who gets on these boards (lurkers, etc.) know exactly where I live. I know some who post pictures of their kids, list their names, ages, etc. Guess I'm just not very trusting of people.
