I am going crazy, my oldest DS who had the seizure and in turn stopped breathing went back to school today....which was good for him, since it was important to get him back into his routine....but I'm going crazy.....He's only been gone for about 2 hrs.....I feel like my heart is going to jump out of my chest I'm so nervous about him being away from me..... I'm trying not to be irrational, but I want nothing more then to throw the girls the vehicle and go pick him up........

Anyone have any good techniques for calming down? I haven't been able to sleep or eat since this happened, and I know the sleeping is really going to catch up me.......

((((((HUGS))))) I would contact his teacher and the school nurse to see if you can get updates on how he is doing. Maybe take a special treat to him at lunch to calm your fears and check in on him.

It is always worse on the mom than the child. A little shopping therapy might do the trick to relax you, or get a good book, take a nice long bubble bath and play some soothing music.
