Refridgerator Door Curiosity???

Okay I notice that whenever people come over my house they can't help but look to peep at the Fridge Door. Funny thing was my Dog went to nip at the vising nurse the other day becaus the nurse went to touch my DD who she is very protective of and the nurse blurts out the sign on your Fridge is true *Killer poodle on Duty* The other nurse walks in and comments on my DD's School picture of courss it's an 8x10 and really beautiful so hard to miss. But I notice when I have even family over they read everything on the fridge door whether a thank you note or appointment reminders. I just find it funny and don't get me wrong it wouldn't be there if it were anything so private.
Whats on your fridge door and is it such a curiosity factor? I actually like my fridge with nothing but right now life is a bit complicated with a sick kid LOL

Absolutely nothing, I actually hate when people have magnets, pictures, and paperwork hanging all over there fridge. I prefer the sleek, less is more look. When my son was younger people would buy him those alphabet magnet letters, and then be upset with me when they came over and didn't see them on the fridge. I personally don't encourage my son to play in the kitchen, DH made him a magnet board that he had in his playroom, but as far as having them on my stainless steel fridge, nope...no thanks!

I have magnets on the fridge. Ones from places we've "been." I DID have everything else cleaned off the fridge, but slowly my 5 year old keeps adding her "artwork" to it. I do have the lunch menu and her schedule (so I KNOW what she has each day) on there.

We don't get much company so no one really looks at the fridge. However, when I go to my moms or my MIL, I always check out the fridge. More so at my moms cause that's where she keeps her "what she's doing each day" list.

We used to have the fridge covered with kids artwork, pictures, magnets, schedules, lunch menu. However, when we moved in June we got a Stainless Steel fridge and magnets don't stick so there is nothing on it now.

There's a Refrigerator Door on the Fridge? LOL! I can barely see my doors......my fridge has 3 dry erase boards on it, one for chores, one for breakfast and lunch "orders" and on for me to jot down what ever I need from the store.....then each child has at least on picture on there, and then they each get to display a drawing a piece too. Then We have an Emergency Contact Info laminated and posted to the side, along with my FRG In case of Emergency phone numbers. and several small magnets along with a stash of baggy clips....everything is put on in order, though it's doesn't look as nice as a nice clean fridge would, but oh well..this works for us

I wish my fridge didn't have as much stuff on it as it does. I have my dry erase calendar with a different color marker for each kid and what they have going on that day. I would be lost without that! A Bat Mitzvah invitation that my DD is invited to. Soccer schedules, church alter team schedule for DD, chore schedule, etc. I wouldn't know where to put all this if not for the fridge--out of sight, out of mind.

So this way he knows who's stuff is on what clip. Works out perfect for us. We are always so busy that they just walk to the fridge and know what is going on.
That sounds like a really cute idea .......did you just attach some magnets to regular clothespins?

We have those little ABC letters that we write "I Love You's" to each other. And "Way To Go" and "I Love You" to the boys. We also have magnet inspirational words, they are tiny. We make up sentences with them for each other.

Everyone that comes over thinks it's the cutest thing that DH and I still do things like that after being married for so long.

Sorry, Polve, I'm one of those people . I collect magnets, so I have quite a few on my refrigerator, also I have a dry erase board on it. People always want to look at my refrigerator because I have some fairly bizarre (bizarre to others not to me) magnets on the refrigerator.

Every year I buy a big calendar - the desk blotter one - at Staples and every month I put a page up on the fridge to keep track of all our activities, appointments, days off, etc. We also have magnets from take-out places and such on the fridge, but I really miss the artwork that the kids did when they were little. I'd like a clean-look too, but as mabear said, it works for us!

Our old fridge tended to "collect" things like messages and reminders...no matter how many times I cleaned it off. Now our new fridge is stainless and I LOVE the fact that they don't stick. But yes, people used to "read" my other door, but I'm guilty of fridge door reading as well. I usually start by just glancing at pics that always inevitably get put on people's doors, but sometimes the old eyes "drift" LOL and I end up reading other things too, BOY it could be considered nosey...but it truly doesn't start that way LOL.

I hate stuff on my fridge, I think it looks messy, but I do have things on there. I have a calendar, birthday invitations, and a friends of ours picture who was killed in Afghanistan a little over a month ago. And I am curious of what is hanging on peoples fridges because like you said if it was personal it probably wouldn't be on the fridge. I admit I am a very nosy person.
