| Anybody have a Slingbox?
DH picked up one of these (well actually went through 3) over the past weekend. He wanted it so he could watch TV and our DVR from Iraq. It works through the internet. He plans on hooking up his laptop to a projector, and setting up a movie/tv room for his Troop. We are also sending a great big popcorn machine to place in there...... Does anybody have one of these? He's tested it out around the neighborhood, and it's kind of neat. Just will have to remind myself not to freak out, if my tv channels start changing themselves in the middle of the night.........

DH has been saying he's going to buy one for awhile now. He's just waiting to find a good deal. We will use it mostly when we travel so there is actually something to watch on TV. The thing I miss the most (other than our pets) when we're away is Tivo <lol>. Sarah.......mom to Jason & Devin |

It is a box that you hook up to your TV, and computer, and it allows you to watch TV through the computer no matter where you are (need internet connection) The one we picked will also allow him to access our DVR. Does that make sense?
