I need a help on how to earn extra cash quickly. We just found out that our vehicle needs a new engine. Before anyone says to get rid of it, I still owe to much on it to get rid of it. I would be upside down in my financing. I am also recently unemployed and trying to go to school full time to change my career. I don't have daycare expenses anymore but my husband just took a pay cut in his job. Needless to say we are really short on money. I have borrowed from family but we are still coming up short. I've already borrowed against our life insurance policies so can't do that again. I don't have a 401K plan and we rent. We have really poor credit due to financial issues. Any suggestions would be oh so wonderful. I am looking for any and everything right now so I can get my vehicle back. I've had to get a rental car until I can get it and needless to say that's adding up, it has saved us in gas since it's a smaller vehicle but still.. Thank you in advance for everything!!

Could you do babysitting? Sometimes you can put ads up on bulletin boards in grocery stores.

What about Walmart or Target or a grocery store? Many of those places are hiring, especially right now as the holidays get close. If you have "party" type stores in your area like Party City, they're hiring seasonal help right now.

I could work part time at one of those places my only issue is my class schedule. I have 2 class's in the middle of the day and then 2 other days a week I have full day class's. Plus I don't want to have to work from 3:30 - 6 so I don't have to pay daycare. Otherwise my paycheck would go to that and be a mute point if that makes sense. My husband works 8 - 5 and usually isn't home till 6. :-( I had this all planned out and we were doing ok until we had the truck issue. Since my truck is only a 2001 we never expected needing a new engine.

Can you donate plasma in your town or nearby? Where I live, you can donate 2x a week, and make about $35 each time.

Christmas is coming, and stores are hiring part time help. I already work part time at the library. I was asked to do floor set at Bath and Bodyworks. It doesn't pay a lot but the hours are mostly for when the store is closed. I will be setting up displays and moving things around. I get a store discount too. I am in a workaholic mode lately, so I said yes.

With Chrismas coming, stores are always in need of extra weekend help. The stores around here are pretty good about working around their staff's needs. I should also say that we have a major outlet mall in our area -- and there are always those sorts of jobs available. It will help build your credit rating too.
