I call my son HuggieBear, always have.....what is extremely funny that when people ask him what his middle name is, he says its Falkon Huggiebear.....no matter how many time we tell him his only middle name is Falkon, he still thinks he has two. DH thinks we should legally change it. LOL

no, not now that they are older. When they were younger, I did. I have a friend who STILL calls her kids (25,23, 20) by their baby nicknames......I can't stand it!!

When my son was a baby I used to like to rhyme things so I used to call him Kevin Bevin the Baby Boschmevin. I realize that makes no sense but it was funny. Then it went to Boschmevin, then Boschmev and then Bo. Then I decided if I kept calling him weird names he wouldn't know his real name! lol We call him Kevin or Kev and sometimes we still throw in a Bevin or Bev too! lol He's 16 now.

My son has been called Peanut since birth

His old baby sitter called him Knucklehead

He is always called Peanut now because he was small at birth still small now and my parents always call him Peanut before Dad died the first words out of his mouth when I would talk to him on the phone was always "Hows My Peanut?" I miss that , but My Mom always asks "How's Peanut" and when we did the Obituary we listed the Grandkids by name and it said and his "Peanut" Stefan. I was amazed at how many of the nieghbors knew him as Peanut not Stefan. Mom went in to change her will up and when they asked for her Grandson's name she said "Peanut" and then corrected herself the Attorney got a good laugh out of that.

And my "fur baby" Lucy (the Bichon) answers to: Lucy, LuLu, Lucita, Lucy Lu, Lu, Lucy-fur (haha! when she's bad!)

Zachary we call Zach, Zacharoo, Zachadoodledoo, Zach-Zach, and Stinky (not because he has an odor, though he has really raunchy foot odor, but because he's soooo ornery!)

Nathan we call Nate, Squishy face, little man, Mr. Nathan and sweet boy. He's only 12 weeks so it hasn't been that long...lol

My dad calls Zach Leroy and Nathan Littleroy. We were telling everyone Nathan's name was going to be Leroy just to throw them off. With Zach, we told everyone his name and I ended up with three cousins (I come from a HUGE catholic family) who named their sons Zachary after hearing his name. One went even as far as to name him Zachary Tyler, just like ours. With Nathan, we didn't make that "mistake". My poor grandmother, to this day, still can't figure out how to spell Zach's name because some spelled it Zackery and some spelled it Zachery but we used the traditional spelling. She's 80, I am not going to correct her at this point .

We call our son "Gun Gee" (gun like the actual gun, and gee pronounced like "dee", but with a "g" - but sometimes we pronounce "gun" like "gung" and skip the "gee" part). I don't know how this nickname came into play.

DH used to call him "Pooh Bear Gun Gee" but as he got older we omitted the Pooh Bear part (I don't know a 10-year old boy who would want to be called Pooh Bear).

Jason was called "Pudge" all through high school and into college. I didn't really like it, but one of the coaches gave it to him when he was a freshman. When he was a senior on the football team, and weighed 280 pounds, it fit. Now, at 24, he weighs 160 pounds and looks incredible. I am so pround of him. He has kept it off for four years. It's so funny, however, to hear all of his friends STILL call him Pudge!
