A friend of mine is having a family Halloween party and is looking for costume ideas for herself and DH. They'd like to dress to compliment each other. Since she is creatively challenged like me, we'd appreciate any ideas.

Here's what we've got so far. (FYI, their daughter's name is Charlee)


1. Mom and Dad each put on a pair of angel wings and get to be Charlee's Angels!

2. Both adults dress in green from head to toe and one of them grabs an IPOD. Thus, we have two peas
and an IPOD.



I know all of you have creative talents that far exceed anything I can imagine. Please help me brainstorm.

I found a few basic dresses at Old Navy for $3.97 and $6.97. The one i bought was black and grey striped and I will wear it with a witch's hat.

DH and I went to a Halloween party once where I dressed as a heart (all red clothes with a big heart shape cut out of poster board), and DH dressed as a cop. We were a CARDIAC ARREST.

There is a bit of a story about what my DH and I are dressing as for Halloween:

A few weeks ago I was messing everything up. I kept saying I felt like "the Gilligan on the Three Hour Tour of life". We were invited to a Halloween party and I decided to go as Gilligan. My DH, then, decided to go as the Skipper.

We own a denture laboratory and my DH really wanted to make us each a set of fangs. We will add fake vampire bites and fake blood. and go as Gilligan and the Skipper, AFTER vampires invaded the island.

Two other teachers and I have ordered black "CSI" shirts that also have our school name on them. The CSI caps we ordered are awesome--they have our last names stitched on the back. We're wearing black jeans, boots, black shades---basically all in black. We're big CSI fans and we thought it would be fun.

I'm not feeling very creative myself right now. I would suggest going to a fabric store, and looking thru the pattern books. You don't HAVE to use a pattern, but, could get some real good ideas.
