I am embarassed to admit that I've all but stopped reading the paper and watching the news. It is depressing and sickening this world we live in...... We definitely need someone to turn this cruise ship around before it hits the iceburg.....

Do you think it's really any more violent? I think news just travels soo much faster with the internet and 24 hour news channels. Face it, the world has gotten a lot smaller. And since violence = ratings, they seem to push those stories instead of showing all the good we are doing.

yes, I thought that this morning, when I heard that Al Gore won a nobel peace prize. I was waiting for someone to say, "April Fools!," but then I remembered it was October. I think he's a moron and it made me want to vomit----and then go back to bed.

Yes, I'm still scratching my head over how Al Gore = Nobel Peace Prize. They must have been really hard up this year for candidates. You KNOW now that he will certainly throw his hat in the presidential race. Gag. Just what we need, another 'winner' to choose from. There are so many great candidates to choose from again this time around already.
