If you have seen my other post you will see that on Thursday I had thyroid surgery removing the right lobe for a 4.1 CM nodule that had formed. Everything has been going great with the surgery, and recovery itself. Today when I woke up I am extremely sore, and in pain under my right armpit, and over a bit nearest my breast. I'm worried it's my lymph nodes. I feel nothing there, see no brusing, cuts or anything else to make this pain come, and since I've been taking it extremely easy, it's fair to assume no physical activity caused this. Should I be concerned at all? It feels just as bad as it did when I woke up, and that was with pain meds( for the surgery itself. ) I can barely put deodorant on, it hurts so bad to touch it in there.

while I don't know if you have anything to worry about or not, I think a call to the Dr. would make you feel better! Yes, this would be considered an emergency because this would be a new symptom and does need to be evaluated.
