That's nuts! I refuse to take part in fundraisers that sell things out of catalogs, etc. I just give the school cash instead...they get more money that way. I do like carnivals and bake sales though.

I agree with the idea just not the presentation. I think there should be more than one option for each student to do their part to contribute to the junior prom cost. Parents in my school district are starting to rebel at all the work that goes into providing the senior prom and party afterwards. It's a few parents doing all the work. That's just not fair.
