What are those ornaments called that look like they are covered with course sugar. I seem to remember
that Cracker Barrel sold them a couple of years ago. I believe this type of ornament was around in the
60's or earlier. I've looked under sugar & crystallized ornaments, but am not having any luck with my web search.

Are they the Snow Babies?

Unfortunately not, but those did come up in my search. I have two of the mystery type of ornaments, but they are packed away in the attic right now. They aren't china, but may be a heavy duty polymer or platic of some wort. It look like they were rolled in that thick grainy sugar (like the kind that may be sprinkled on cookies or muffins). One was in the shape of a gingerbread house & the other was the shape of Santa's boot.
