I just couldn't get used to them... I had cataract surgery just under a year ago at the age of 33 and tried a pair but they just made me sick no matter how hard I tried... I swap between distance and reading glasses... a pain for better than the alternative... I'm being fitted for contacts so I can try to remove one pair...

hope you have better luck than I did

But it is so wonderful when you can see and read things. Just don't make my mistake and try to get on an escalator with them on in the beginning! lol

LOL, I already tried going down to the basement and decided the laundry didn't need to be done that much.

Can't do contacts, anything near or in my eye freaks me out.

I got my first pair of bifocals when I was in high school....I didn't know any better and wore them to school the first day I had them, and I fell straight down a flight of stairs....tore up my ankle and had cuts of my shins......not to mention how totally embarrasing the whole thing was.....I was sick to my stomach for days, and my parents finally said no more, and I had two seperate pairs. I tried getting them again about 5 years ago, and they just didn't work out......of course no glasses work for me right now, I went through 6 pairs in just a couple of months about 2 years ago, and haven't gone back for anymore since.....guess I should make a new appt......

Good Luck!
