If you saw the names Edward and Bella and you quickly opened this thread then you know who I'm talking about.

Those of you that have no idea what I'm talking about...it's the books by Stephanie Meyer Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse.

I highly suggest you read Twilight and you might as well get New Moon and Eclipse at the same time...it'll save you the trouble going back to the book store!

Edward is, gulp, a vampire...but wait, not in traditional neck-biting sense. Bella is human. Oh, and there is, of course Jacob, who is, another gulp, a werewolf.

I love them all and and would love to share your thoughts on the books.

I haven't read them yet but my 16 yr old DD LOVES those books! She's read them at least 3 times each and is always telling me I need to read them. She has even done drawings of what she thinks Edward and Bella look like.
She's really hoping they'll do a movie series on the books. She would love to see them "come to life" on the big screen.
Guess I need to finally go and borrow them from her so I can see what I've been missing.

That's how I ended up reading them. My 22yr old DD did nothing but talk and talk about the books and told me I "HAD" to read them. But I had no desire to read a book about vampires. But to humor her I read the 1st one...in 2 days.

I was hooked. The next day I told her to bring over the other 2 books.

Actually I thought you were talkng about that new wall cover system that I keep seeing on TV and can't remember the name of....lol...

My dd said these books have a different take on the Vampire. It's not like the traditional type vamps you see in other books. I think that's why she was so interested. I think I'll ask her for the books this weekend. With the kiddos in school all day and me being home alone, that's the perfect time to get some reading in

Aah, perfect October pre-Halloween reading! Thanks for the heads up. I placed a hold on Twilight at the library.

I just finished Twilight. Easy and fun reading -- I really didn't have anything else to do this weekend, LOL!

I have the other two on hold as well and look forward to reading them both.
