I don't usually take the time to check things for where they are made. But my 7 yo granddaughter has a hawk eye for things made in China. Every time she sees something made in China she very loudly announces it to whom ever might be listening. The other day while going through a kitchen drawer I discovered I had 2 of the thingies that help you pull up the can tab like those on pop cans. The item is made in red plastic. The writing on it is also red embossed. I laid it on the counter to add to the give away box. The minute I laid it there she said "look, it's made in China". I couldn't even see the writing but to her it stuck out like a sore thumb.

thanks for letting me know about the sandwich bags. I really tried not to buy anything made in china, food or plastic.i am kinda paranoid about it. it is so hard to find things made in the US.i am sure you can find them ,but the big retailers are often only offering the cheap crap from china...

I guess I never really gave little things like sandwich bags much thought, guess I'll have to pay a little more attention to the smaller things......
