Seems like everyday more toys and other items are being recalled because it has lead in it. I am thinking by the time the holidays roll around, that there will be nothing left on the shelves because everything is being recalled!!!!

Thanks for the information! I have been trying to take more notice about toys being made in the US lately. I already do NOT buy food grown or packaged in other countries (except my Walkers shortbread, yum). I am really trying to buy more "made in USA" items.

Thanks for the info.....maybe there is a place we can create a main list, so we can add to it has we find more items made in the good ole USA. I know I'm dreading looking at toys for xmas with all the recalls.....

I just visited the Gummy Lump website!!! I am so excited. It's been so long since I've had to buy Christmas presents for a little one and I was at a complete loss just like I was for her birthday. WOW...I love these toys. I walk through Wal-Mart and am so unimpressed with the toy selection and I feel like I buy things jusr for the sake of buying them. NOw, not only can I buy American, but things I really want to buy!!!!

We just had a gift exchange for our October 2006 babies, I ordered from Gummy Lump!

Most of us asked for wooden toys, lots of concern about these recalls. Seems like a lot of the toys are European brands, so hopefully they're safe...
