A Complaint Free World

Has anyone read A Complaint Free World or been to the web site AComplaintFreeWorld.org ? I just read the book and found it very enlightening. Most of the time when I read books like this, I laugh them off and say yeah right. I am a BIG complainer, but I never realized what a impact it has own my life.

Is this the guy who advocated not complaining for 30 days or something??? Seems I remember hearing something about that. Then I heard him or someone else say there is "therapy" of sorts in complaining....it can be a stress reliever.

What do you do when you get cruddy service somewhere??? I refuse to just bend over and take it, sorry.

When you catch yourself complaining, gossiping or criticizing (it’s ok, everyone does) move the bracelet to the other arm and begin again.

If you hear someone else who is wearing a bracelet complain, you may point out their need to switch the bracelet to the other arm; BUT if you’re going to do this, you must move your bracelet first!

So even pointing out someone else complaining means you are complaining. LOL

The gossip and criticizing - yeah I could see how removing those behaviors can be positive.

But complaining is not always a terrible thing, particularly if you receive bad service or faulty merchandise.

I think I read one is to do the program for 21 days. After that, is it ok to complain again?
