Everytime I turn around my phone is ringing today and it's driving me crazy, it's almost to the point where I'm thinking of unplugging the house phone, any one "important" can reach me on my cell.......

It's been telemarketers, which I answered one call when they wouldnt' stop calling and after politetly telling them I wasn't interested, and they continued to talk I handed the phone to my 4 year old, she loves to talk on the phone Dh keeps calling, we are planning a Troop/FRG picnic, and he keeps coming up with questions.....which is really irritating since we talked about all of it this weekend... Hospital who is doing DS EEG has called to confirm his appt. tommorow 3 times. I was just there this morning, to sign paperwork and pick up instruction sheet.... enough already! Then the usual phone calls from friends, other FRG members, etc........

Yeah I have days like that and when someone that I know calls and I don't check to see who it is I can be grumpy when saying hello and I kind of stun them a little and then I am like oops sorry!!

What really makes me mad is when some man will call and ask for my 12 year old DD acting like he is going to sell her something

They ask for my DD and I ask them what this call pertains to and they say who they are and I get mad at them and ask them if they realize they are asking for a 12 yr and then they seem quite shocked and are very apologetic. I even had the telemarketers for the state police call and ask for her one time. Boy that guy stuttered! I am always thinking what if it is just some creepy guy? KWIM?

My phone usually starts ringing off the hook about 5 minutes after my son gets off the bus.

Caller ID?? Screen the calls through the answering machine.

we are on the no call list (and current) with caller ID and they STILL call. Phone doesn't start ringing until around 4:00 though. Sometimes, the same number calls over and over for like 5 minutes. If I'm bored, I'll answer with "hello....hello...hello?"...say nothing but hello LOL I've also put the phone next to the TV speaker for a bit, I've played twinkle twinkle on the phone keypad....

I only do this after I have told them at least once to not call again , put me on their no call list and that I am on the national no call list (because I realize that it is someone's job to call me...)
