Ok, today I received a PM from someone that thinks I am another user. I tried to reply to this person, but they have their PM's and emails turned off.

The person that they think I am has stirred some trouble here and some other places too, from what I understand.

I just want to set the record straight, that this was my original username from when I first became a member here at MC, and before I became a moderator. I left my mod position after awhile, left that username behind too. I only use this one.

If I can give you some advice, don't give them the advantage of replying to them. Anyone who would pm you with that info is a trouble maker.

Don't hand over your power to anyone, we are who we are. Trust me when I tell you, eventually regardless of what user name you use, a leopard always shows their spots.

That's kind of a low blow, considering the person who PM'd you has their PM's and e-mail turned off. Care to share the PM? Maybe exposing the person might take care of the problem especially since you tried to reply to her in private. I can't figure out why someone gets pleasure out of harassing people. Makes no sense to me.

No, I'm not going to post the PM here because it would serve no purpose other than to cause more drama. The person that sent it to me is using an new nickname because they are a fairly new member but has much knowledge of past events.

Don't worry about it, and your right if you post the pm it will cause more drama, just put them on your ignore list.

lord, i have been told I am 3-4 different people on the net. one of the people I was suppose to be on here died about 9 months ago. funny, I am still here.
Dont let it bother you. I ignored her and she finally went away. heard through the grapevine that she was emailing another member here after that telling her that she knew she had a couple different user names.
I think it was a game with this person. Nothing else to do but try to start something with someone.

Me too, Flipper. But I can't imagine someone actually putting the time and the energy into trying to figure out something as ridiculous as that! Who really cares if someone is posting on an internet site (where everyone is totally anonymous) one name or another? Like it's some big mystery. People are amazing. Thank goodness for all the nice folks here! I think they outnumber the psychos.
