| What is it? Tough to describe it!
I want to know the official term for these, and I hope you guys get a laugh out of my description because I'm stumped. O.k..........They're usually found outside convenience stores, new subdivisions or condo/apt. units. It's an advertising tool to attract passersby. They are hooked up to a compressor and the thing goes up and down with arms flailing because of the forced air running thru. We have somebody at work that gets flustered very easily and I often think of him when I see these things. What is the proper term? Googling "flailing arm thingy in front of condos" probably isn't going to get me very far. TIA! |

| If you could see his daily responses to the smallest issues that arise, you would know that I'm not kidding. It's not good, but my children have heard me tell so many stories about this manager, they've started saying, "Look, Mom! There's a "Tom!" I should probably ask them to call those skydancer or tubeman instead, huh? Thanks for the help. |
